Lebanon Christkindl Market

The Friends of Coleman Memorial Park will be holding its 11th annual Lebanon Christkindl Market on Saturday, December 2, 2023. The event will take place on the grounds of beautiful Coleman Memorial Park from 9am-3pm. Proceeds from the Market will be used for the benefit of the park.

Despite the weather last year we saw our largest number of vendors to date, and they promised to return for this year’s market because their sales were good. If you haven’t filled out your vendor application here is a link to the 2023 Lebanon Christkindl Market application.

Youth Tennis Camp Session 1; Ages 6-8

The Friends of Coleman Memorial Park are pleased to announce they will host a series of Youth Tennis Camps again this summer.

All tennis camps this year will be taught by Sarah Brashear, nationally registered tennis instructor and former first seed player at Lebanon Valley College. Sarah’s professional training and experience as an instructor for tennis, as well as her profession as a local school teacher make her a perfect fit for working with your child; especially younger children. 2023 will be Sarah’s 5th year instructing the Youth Tennis Campers at Coleman Memorial Park.

Our current summer camp offerings for Summer 2023 are:

Session 1: Monday, 6/12 thru Friday, 6/16 (ages 6-8)

Session 2: Tuesday, 6/20 thru Saturday, 6/24 (ages 9-11)

Session 3: Monday, 6/26 thru Friday, 6/30 (ages 12-14)

All tennis camp participants MUST register prior to the first day of camp.

All 2023 tennis camp days starting times will be 9 am to 11 am.

All Tennis Campers will be provided with their own age appropriate tennis racket if registered before June 1.

Lebanon’s Christkindl Market is an outdoor festival inspired by the Christkindl Markets found in Germany. We celebrate Lebanon County’s German heritage on the grounds around the carriage house area of Coleman Memorial Park. The streets are lined with German and Christmas inspired food and craft booths.

We look forward to having you join us, so come early to buy the best Christmas treats and stay to enjoy the beauty of Coleman Memorial Park decked out for Christmas.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact any member of our committee at pam@FriendsofCMP.org or 717-708-2284.

Fall in the Park Tour

The fall season officially begins on September 22. Why not welcome the season with a stroll around the park? See the changing colors of the many varieties of plants and trees and celebrate the end of the oppressive heat we have had this summer. Or maybe you would like a guided tour of the sites of the five mansions that once stood in the park.
